Dragon Touker Suleyman joins judging panel for 2023 awards
Dragon’s Den investor and Founder of Low Profile Group, Touker Suleyman is the latest addition to the 2023 Scale-Up Awards judging panel to be announced.
Touker Suleyman is an award-winning businessman and serial entrepreneur. He founded the Low Profile Group in 1978 and famously acquired Hawes & Curtis for £1 in 2002 before turning the then-failing company’s fortunes around. Today, Low Profile consists of several well-known brands. Suleyman first appeared on the hit BBC business show Dragon’s Den in 2015 and has remained on the show ever since.
He joins an esteemed panel that already contains Dr Saima Rana, CEO and Principal of GEMS World Academy; Irene Graham OBE, the CEO of the ScaleUp Institute; TV personality Joanna Jarjue and many others.
Brought to you by Business Leader, the Scale-Up Awards celebrate high-growth companies and the entrepreneurs that run them. Entries to the 15 award categories have now closed and a record number of entries received. Finalists in each award category are set to be announced on the 8th of September after careful deliberation by the judges.
Andrew Scott, Founder of the Scale-Up Awards, comments: “Touker Suleyman is one of the biggest names in UK business. His wealth of knowledge and experience will be invaluable when it comes to determining the finalists at the 2023 Scale-Up Awards, and I’m delighted to have someone of his calibre involved at this year’s event.”
